We decided to start a blog as a way not only to chronical our journey to meet our daughter, but to communicate to our friends and family and let them know they are welcome to join in our excitement! This is truly meant to be a gift to our daughter, a journal of our journey to her. We believe it will be a beautiful keepsake for her. I know many of you have asked us "why and when did you decide to adopt?"... there really is not an easy answer - we are so blessed with our family and our very safe and secure life, but we knew there was something missing, something more. I think we were skipping along in our little world and we came to the edge of cliff where we could either take a slight turn and avoid a free fall, or take each other's hand and jump!! Well, without hesitation, we jumped!! Danielle was there to catch us and show us a new path - we will soon be skipping along again, only this time, her little hand will be joined to ours... forever.
